Baby Bird - Animatic Clip

A short clip form the developing animatic. This is one of the scenes where a stop motion butterfly will feature so planning it is vital to getting the action right.

Baby BIrd - Lens Tests

Along with Ross Gill (our DOP) we performed some quick lens tests on the Canon C100 with a range of vintage Chinon lenses, the Tokina 11-16, an anamorphic adapter, and Samyang Cine lenses. Surprisingly we are leaning toward using the old Chinon lenses with a cheap wide-angle adapter. We also went through some different gels, a china ball light and an Arri 2k.

Baby Bird - Sweat-Shirt Design

Rough idea for sweat-shirt graphic for the fictional National Bird Conservation Society. Who will be the party pooper in place of the real-world Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.

Illustrations for Arthur's Exercise Book

Baby Bird - 1st Rough 2d Animation

Baby Bird uses 2D animation to illustrate the main characters internal dialogue, which manifest themselves as Hieronymus Bosch style visions in a child's exercise book.

The 2D animation is being provided by Michael Papanicolaou, a BA buddy from Arts University Bournemouth days.
